Batavia - Vivian A. Brumsted, 85, of Batavia, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at United Memorial Medical Center.
Miss Brumsted was born January 30, 1929 in Oakfield, a daughter of the late Roy and Myrtia Kingdom Brumsted.
A 30-year employee of G.T.E. Sylvania in Batavia, she was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Batavia and was an avid Bingo player.
She is survived by her sisters, Florence Mooney of Oakfield and Iola Anderson of Stanton, Iowa; 16 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is the sister of the late Florine Taggert, Jeanette Taber and Frances Gray.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10 to 12 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, where services will follow at 12 pm.
