Valerie Fearby

Valerie Fearby, age 73, of Batavia, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Premier Genesee Center, Batavia.

She was born on December 7, 1952. Valerie was a beloved Daughter of the late Herbert and Ruth (Green) Blackman.

She found joy in life's simple, meaningful moments - spending quiet afternoons crocheting, coloring pages that brought out her creative spirit, and filling her kitchen with the warmth of home-cooked meals. She took pride in canning the fruits of her labor, preserving not only food but traditions and memories to share with those she loved. Her dogs held a special place in her heart. They were her constant companions, faithfully by her side, and she cared for them with the same devotion she showed to her family.

Valarie will be remembered by her sister/cousin, Beverly Santon-Parsons; nieces, Brandi Deyarmin, Stephanie Wolfe, and Jamie Meyer, and a friend, Mike Ingalsbe

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Fearby; parents, Herbert and Ruth Blackman, In death, Valarie is now reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, Oakfield, NY. Valerie will be laid to rest, with her family, at the convenience of the family.
