Timothy J. Wescott, Sr.

Batavia - Timothy J. Wescott, Sr., age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 16, 2026.

He was born on July 31, 1954, in Buffalo, a son of the late Fred and Dorothy Calhoon Wescott.

An avid golfer, he was a lifelong member of Stafford Country Club and wintered in Sarasota, Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol J. Bishop Wescott; his children, Julia Wescott and Timothy J. (Lindsey Hering) Wescott, Jr., both of Batavia; grandchildren, Leila Joy Washington, Karizma Rose Wescott and Emily Mae Wescott; his brothers, Thomas F. (Diane) Wescott, Sr. of Batavia and David W. (Virginia) Wescott of Midlothian, Virginia; his sister, Carolyn Wescott of Clifton Springs and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Ann (late Ron) Bradley.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia, where memorial services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
