Tamara Lynn Goetz, 63, of Ontario, New York, and Palm Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2026.

Tammy was born on August 8, 1962, in Rochester, New York, to Harry S. Crosier and Beverly Crosier. She grew up in Bergen, New York, and graduated from Byron-Bergen High School.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, James "Jim" Goetz; her sons, Matthew (Ambre) Goetz, Andrew (Rachel) Goetz, and Joshua (Amanda) Goetz. She is also survived by her mother, Beverly Crosier; her brother, Scott (Amy) Crosier; and her cherished grandchildren, Lydia, Travis, Maggie, Mollie, and Marlie Goetz. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Abby.

She is predeceased by her father Harry Crosier and stepfather Clarence Rogers.

After graduating from high school, Tammy began her working life at LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home, where she found great fulfillment in caring for others. Following her marriage to Jim and their move to Ontario, she dedicated herself to raising their three sons and creating a loving home for her family.

As her family grew, Tammy took on a variety of part-time positions, including waitressing, daycare work, clerical positions for the Town of Ontario Highway Department, maintaining park grounds, and eventually serving in the Assessor's Office. One of the accomplishments she was most proud of was her service as a volunteer with the local ambulance and fire company, where her passion for helping others shone brightly.

Tammy's warm smile and unforgettable laugh were contagious. As one cousin fondly remarked, she was "full of fun and spirit" and could always make people laugh. She had a special gift for staying connected with family and friends, never missing an opportunity to share stories, catch up on the latest news, or lend a listening ear.

She enjoyed camping, spending time at the lake, and making treasured memories with her children and grandchildren. Whether gathered around a campfire, enjoying a family outing, or simply sharing time together, Tammy found her greatest happiness in the company of those she loved.

Florida held a special place in Tammy's heart. What began as childhood family vacations grew into a lifelong love of the Sunshine State. She cherished the warmth, the beaches, and the peace she found near the ocean. After retiring, Tammy and Jim fulfilled their dream of making Florida their home.

Tammy will be cremated in Florida and interred in Attica, New York. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
