Sheila Meyer, age 68, of Batavia, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Sheila was born on September 30, 1957. A daughter of the late Wendall Wheaton and Ruth Recktenwald, and wife of the Late James Meyer (2019).
She was a loving mother who cherished her family. Sheila enjoyed riding motorcycles, being outside, and spending time with her dog Pita..
Sheila is survived by her daughter, Janette (Paul) Cipra and stepdaughter, Jessica (Joe) Hewitt; grandchildren, Sage (Michael) Dorobiala, Devin Harmon, Skylar Harmon, Makayla Meyer-Corkery, and Jasmine Hewitt; Great granddaughter, Evelyn Dorobiala; siblings, Jeffery Wheaton, Marcia (Richard) Northrup, Valerie Bugman, and Pamela Wheaton. She is predeceased by her parents, Wendall Wheaton and Ruth Recktenwald; Children, Shane Dann and Tanya Campbell.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of H.E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home 403 E. Main Street, Batavia NY. There are no calling hours. There will be a private Celebration of Life at the convenience of the family.
