Ronald L. Jackett, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on
December 11, 2025, at the age of 82. Born and raised in Batavia, New York, Ronald was known for his
love of family, passion for adventure, and dedication to his community.
Ronald graduated from Batavia High School in 1961 and served honorably in the United States Air Force.
Following his military service, Ronald embarked on a distinguished 30-year career as a Tool and Die
Maker with Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester, NY, where his dedication and craftsmanship were highly
respected.
A man of diverse interests, Ronald cherished all things automotive, particularly classic cars, trucks, and
jeeps. His enthusiasm for coin collecting, playing cards, and meticulously planning trips took him to
nearly all 50 states, where he created lasting memories with his family. Ronald was a lifetime member of
both the VFW and the Stafford Fire Department and a prior member of the LeRoy Moose Lodge.
Ronald is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Brenda Jackett; grandchildren A'Lea (Cam Taylor)
Jackett, Mark Jackett, Marissa Jackett, and Caleb Jackett; his brothers, Howard James (Kaye) Jackett,
Eugene Jackett, and Allen Jackett; sister-in-law, Linda Wilkins; and a multitude of nieces and nephews,
all of whom were deeply cherished.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Dorothy Jackett, and his beloved son, Mark
Jackett.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at H.E. Turner &
Co., Inc. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, NY. A funeral service will follow at the same
location beginning at 4:00 pm.
