Ritchie Bailey

Ritchie Bailey Sr., age 70, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 1, 2026.

Ritchie was born in FT. Pierce, on August 10, 1955, a son of the late Aubrey and Daisy (Sanders) Bailey.

He found great joy in fishing, motorcycling, and riding e-bikes. Ritchie was a warm and social person who loved bringing people together, often hosting barbecues and welcoming guests with generosity and laughter. Above all, his greatest joy and deepest pride was his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Brown) Bailey; children, Ritchie Bailey Jr. and Rose Bailey; grandchildren, India Yarbrough and Messiah Yarbrough; siblings, Leonard Bailey, Gwendolyn Bailey, Debra Bailey, Darleen Bailey, and Sandra Bailey; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In death Ritchie is reunited with his parents, and siblings, Michael, Kelvin, and Dale Bailey.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at H E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. Ritchie's funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm at H.E. Turner & Co., Inc., Batavia, with burial to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba.
