Batavia - Richard O. Hameister, Jr., 64 of Batavia passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at his home.
Mr. Hameister was born December 10, 1960 in Lowville, a son of the late Richard O. Hameister, Sr. and Sally (Bannon) Hameister.
He is survived by his daughter, Paige Hameister of Le Roy; and his sisters, Cynthia (James) McGowan of Batavia and Susan (Edward) Cross of Warsaw. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A private graveside service will be held in Grandview Cemetery in Batavia at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
