It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ralph Fiscus, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 15, 2025, just shy of his 65th birthday. Ralph was born on November 21, 1960, in Byron, New York—a place he always held close to his heart.
Ralph graduated from Byron-Bergen High School and pursued a fruitful career in the military, Upon graduating Infantry school, Ralph went on to serve his country dutifully as an Infantryman. His commitment to service was a testament to his strong sense of duty and leadership.
Upon returning to civilian life, Ralph dedicated himself to maintaining the well-being of veterans through his work at the Batavia VA Medical Center in Batavia, New York. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ralph's love for the outdoors shaped much of his life. He found joy in hunting, camping, and cherishing nature's marvels, particularly his beloved Cocker Spaniels. Known for his passion in attending gun shows and the freedom found riding his Harley.
Ralph is survived by his cherished son, Alonzo "Aj" Fiscus and his wife Amanda; and his beloved siblings, Rob, Cindy, Daniel, Ronnie, Amy, and Crissy Fiscus. His life was enriched by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Fiscus, and his mother, Patricia.
Ralph's life will be celebrated in a burial ceremony on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm, to be held at Western New York National Cemetery located at 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036. Friends, family, and all those touched by his generous spirit are invited to pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Ralph’s memory may contribute donations to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation at PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240.
