Paul Lamprecht, age 81, of Batavia, formerly of Cheektowaga and Alden, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the NYS Veterans Home at Batavia.
Born in Buffalo on August 30, 1944, Paul was the youngest son of the late Alois and Matilde (Verth) Lamprecht. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Navy.
On May 24, 1975, Paul married Diane (Hougland). Together they shared 50 years filled with family, laughter, and love. Paul enjoyed being a member of the Pine Hill Drum Corps, deer hunting, playing pinochle and bingo, and cheering on his beloved Buffalo Bills every Sunday.
Paul will be deeply missed by his wife, Diane; his children, Justin and JoAnna Lamprecht (Scott Strang); his sister, Lorraine; and many nieces, nephews. He is reunited in eternal peace with his parents, his brother, James; and his sister, Lin Aldinger.
The family would like to thank all the caretakers at the NYS Veteran’s Home at Batavia for their kindness, patience, and compassion for all their residents.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of H.E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home 403 E. Main Street, Batavia NY. There are no calling hours. There will be a private interment service at Western New York National Cemetery in the spring.
