Patricia M. Kent

Alabama - Patricia M. Kent, 66 of Alabama, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Unity Hospital in Rochester.

Mrs. Kent was born September 27, 1959 in Batavia, a daughter of the late William and Frances (Gillette) Ellingham.

Patty always put her family first. She adored her granddaughters, Rue and Kay, and could always be found on the sidelines cheering them on. She had a soft spot for her cats and dog, and a gift for filling her home with warmth — whether through her delicious baked treats or her treasured thrift-store finds. Patty’s kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Thomas Kent of Alabama; daughter, Hedi Spring of Alabama; step-son, Jonathon Kent of Batavia; granddaughters, Athena and Kalysta Mitchell; step-grandson, Jak Kent; nieces, Katherine (Michael) Whitcomb and Melissa Yanello; nephew, Devin Hillabush; and sister, Ann Ellingham of Batavia.

Along with her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Ellingham; sister, Barbara (late Robert) Hillabush; and nephew, Brian Hillabush.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Goose, 33 South Main Street, Oakfield, New York 14125.
