Nancy P. Horton

Nancy P. Horton, 89, of Elba, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

She was born August 19,1933 in Batavia, a daughter of Leo and Alberta (Colson) Post.

Nancy retired from Social Security and enjoyed many winters in Winter Haven, Florida with her husband Lorne, who she married March 14, 1953. She loved to golf, play cards and do crossword puzzles and spend time with family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Darwin) Weller; son, Peter (Michele) Horton and beloved grandchildren, Kevin and Katie (Pat) Horton.

Also surviving are her brother, Kenneth (Louise) Post; brother-in-law, Sherm Horton and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Lorne and son, Michael.

Calling hours are Thursday, October 13 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. Nancy's funeral will be held on Friday, October 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elba Presbyterian Church, 23 North Main St., Elba. Nancy will be laid to rest in Maplelawn Cemetery, Elba.
