Batavia - Mildred I. Hale, 103 of Batavia passed away on Monday, (December 8, 2025) at LeRoy Village Green in LeRoy following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hale was born January 26, 1922 in Basom, a daughter of the late Daniel and Bertha (Meyers) Marble.
She was a long time member of the Oakfield Alabama Baptist Church and enjoyed playing dominoes and watching Lawrence Welk.
Surviving are her daughters, Linda (late Al) Xavier of Beverly Hills, Florida and Debra (Raymond) Fisher of Oakfield; daughter-in-law, Linda Hale of Batavia. Seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson along with several nieces and nephews also survive.
Along with her parents, Mildred is reunited in death with her husband, Norton Hale; son, Douglas Hale; and brothers, Donald (late Karen) Marble, Ralph (late Marcy) Marble, and Raymond (late Bernice) Marble.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday (December 15, 2025) from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue in Oakfield, where a memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 p.m. Burial in Reed Cemetery in Oakfield will be private.
