Michelle Lynn Rhodes, age 49, of Wyoming, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, following complications after a double lung transplant and a long battle with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, on Thursday, November 27th at UPMC Presbyterian. Born December 7, 1975 in Batavia, NY, the daughter of David Sr. and Carol (Bush) Coughlin.

Michelle will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing cards, arts and crafts, and never missed a Buffalo Bills game.

She is predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, David Jr. and Laurie Coughlin, her grandparents, Homer and Charlotte Bush, and Leo and Betty Coughlin.

Along with her parents, Michelle will be missed by her loving husband Christopher Rhodes, and her four children, Hailey Rhodes of Brockport, Brittany (Mathew Van Dorn) Rhodes of Wyoming, Ryan Rhodes of Warsaw, and Michael Rhodes of Wyoming. She was also a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Teegan and Nova Rhodes. Michelle will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at H.E. Turner Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St, Batavia on Sunday December 7th from 10:30am-12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alpha-1 Foundation or the family.
