It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Edward Kingdollar, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, at the age of 68. Michael was born on Friday, February 8th, 1957, in Batavia, where he spent most of his life.
Michael was prep-cook at Alex's Place in Batavia, where he worked for many years. His passion for cooking was matched only by his love for life and the simple pleasures it offered.
Michael had a zest for entertainment and was an avid fan of "The Price is Right." He found joy in listening to country music and cherished the times spent playing cards and, Bingo, with friends and fellow residents at the nursing home.
He is survived by his brother, Steven Kingdollar and his wife Paula of Covington, and his dear sister, Darlene Kingdollar of Albion. Michael was a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews, including David (Jessica) Kendall, and Jefferson Butler, Coby Sanders, Brandon and Kayla Kingdollar . He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Hagen Kingdollar, and his sister, Sandra Sanders.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Michael's life will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery, 8 Maple Avenue, Elba, on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Michael's memory to the American Heart Association, 25 Circle Street, Suite 102, Rochester, New York 14607, or the American Lung Association, 505 Ellicott St, Buffalo, NY 14203.
