Batavia - Mary E. Moore, 73 of Batavia passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
She was born Friday, March 18th, 1949 in Warsaw, a daughter of the late Homer Steven Bush, Sr. and Charlotte Goodenow Bush.
Mary enjoyed playing cards, going shopping and out to eat. She loved to listen to music, especially Elvis Presley. Above all else, her family was most important to her.
Mary is the wife of Robert E. Moore, Sr. who passed away on May 8, 2012.
Surviving are her children, Robert E. (Chris) Moore, Jr. of Elba, Steven (Kimberly) Moore, Sr. of Warsaw, Jimmy (Bonnie) Moore, Sr. of Oakfield and Stacey (Dale) Wissinger of Oakfield; her grandchildren, Robert (Silena) Moore, III, Amanda (Will) Lobbins, Becky (Chris) Moore, Nicole (Jamie) Dell, Steven (Stephanie) Moore, Jr., Jimmy (Christy) Moore, Jr., Lacy (Joey) Moore, Justin Moore, RJ Smith, Rylee (Hunter) Wissinger and Connor Wissinger; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Carol (Dave) Coughlin of Batavia; her brothers, Homer (Cathy) Bush, Jr. of Oakfield, Jon (Cindy) Bush of Batavia and Mark Bush of Batavia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews all with whom she shared a special relationship with.
She is predeceased by her grandson, Jessie Moore and her siblings, Coleen Moore, David Bush, Yvonne Madison, Steven Bush and Jerry Bush.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in Reed Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Office for the Aging, 2 Bank Street, Batavia, New York 14020.
