Mark Weinreber

Mark D. Weinreber, 56, of Batavia, passed away suddenly, in his home, on June 20, 2026.

He was born on September 12, 1969, in Lackawanna, a son of the late Lawrence R. Weinreber and Elizabeth (Healy) Weinreber.

Mark proudly served his community for many years as a firefighter with Hutchinson Hose Company in Williamsville and as an EMT, always willing to help those in need. He shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Etta, and spent countless hours by her side. Mark's greatest joy was the time he spent with his family and the many friends he made at the Jerome Apartments, where his warm personality and sense of humor brought happiness to those around him.

Mark is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Weinreber; siblings, Eric (Kathy) Weinreber, Scot (Christine Nelson-Tuttle) Weinreber, Lori Ann (Joel) Heavern, Lisa (Dan) Clare, and Maryann (Burt) Stevens. Mark is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.E. Turner & Co., Inc., Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia, NY 14020. There are no services at this time.
