Laimons Klava
Laimons Klava ,91, died after a brief illness on June 14, 2026 in Batavia in hospice care at UMMC
He immigrated from Latvia as a young teenager with his parents in 1950. The family settled in Batavia, learned English and became proud US citizens.
All three worked at Genesee Memorial Hospital (now UMMC). After high school in Batavia Laimons started work for Chapin from which he retired.
Services will be held for Laimons at Grandview Cemetery, Clinton Street Road on Tuesday June 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends and neighbors are most welcome. Please plant a tree in his memory.
