It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jodi Lyn Armison, who left us on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, at the age of 55 at Gateway Home in Attica surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 4th, 1970, in Batavia, Jodi was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend.
She worked as a CNA at The LeRoy Village Green Nursing home and then spent 18 years working at the Batavia VA Nursing Home. Most recently, she was employed at Culligan Water of Vero Beach, Florida. Jodi's love for the beach and the sun was well-known, and she found beauty in butterflies, which she cherished. Above all, her family was the center of her world.
She is survived by her parents, David P. (Margaret Ann) Stehlar of Corfu, and Terry L. Stehlar of Batavia. Her legacy continues through her children, Julie Armison of Batavia, Ty Armison of Melbourne, Fla., and Morgan Armison of Batavia; step-children, Daniel (Corinne) Armison, Jr., Kristyn (Victor) Thomas, and Jason (Kamilah) Armison all of Batavia, and Tara Sweet of Elba; and her seven grandchildren. Jodi also leaves behind Daniel P. Armison, father of her children; her siblings, Mathew (Courtney) Stehlar of Richmond, Va., Kelli (Douglas Cummings), and Keira Stehlar, both of Batavia; a step-sister, Lynne (Max) Feldman of Massachusetts, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her cherished dogs, River and Nanni, were constant companions who brought her joy.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jodi's memory to Gateway Home, 91 Main Street, Attica, New York 14011.
