Joan Lundmark, 83, of Oakfield, passed away on July 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 5, 1942, in Batavia, a daughter of the late Claude and Dorothy (Erhardt) Goetz.

Joan was a devoted member of East Shelby Community Bible Church and a former member of the Oakfield Ladies Auxiliary and the Oakfield Fire Department. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, including puzzles, bingo, camping, traveling, music, and birdwatching. Above all, Joan treasured her family. Whether attending drag races with her beloved husband, knitting Christmas stockings for each member of her family, or faithfully gathering for Friday lunches, she created countless cherished memories. Her love, thoughtfulness, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always.

Joan is survived by her children, Jim Lundmark, Wendy (Edward) Spence, and Laura (Andy Nelson) Lundmark; grandchildren, Levi, Kayla, Alyssa (John) Unger, Katie (Chris Messmer) Spence, Sami and Josh Armstrong, Morgan and Molly Littlejohn, Eryn Spence; great grandchildren, Jackson Spence, Amelia Armstrong; siblings, Nancy (Claire) Purdy, Lynn (Lorene) Goetz, Wayne (Norma) Goetz, Pat (L. Frank) King, Sandy (L. Donald) Homer, and Cecelia (Paul) Munger, and many other family members and friends.

In death Joan is reunited with her husband, Robert Lundmark; son, Eric Lundmark; grandson, Nathanial Spence; siblings, Ruth (Don) Smith and Mary Lou (Laverne) Smith.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held at East Shelby Church, 5278 E. Shelby Rd. Medina, NY 14103 on August 8, 2026 at 10:00 am.
