Batavia - Jerome F. Greco, 91 of Batavia, passed away on Saturday, (July 30, 2022) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Mr. Greco was born June 15, 1931 in Pocatello, Idaho a son of the late Charles C. and Frances (Jordan) Greco.
Jerome was a parishioner of Resurrection Parish - St. Joseph's Church. He served his country honorably with the Air Force and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Jerome is the husband of the late Loretta (Capuano) Greco and brother of the late Sam Greco.
Surviving is his son, Charles (Rebecca) Greco of Waddell, Arizona; grandchildren, Tech Sgt. Yvonne Greco of Clovis, New Mexico and Anthony Greco of Goodyear, Arizona; a great-granddaughter, Chloe Haley of Henrietta; sister, Joanne (Joseph) Atkinson of Idaho.
Honoring Mr. Greco's request, there will be no visitation. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph's Church. Jerome was laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org .
