Batavia - Jason Christopher Hale, 49, of Batavia, passed away on Monday, (October 26, 2020) at Highland Hospital in Rochester.

Mr. Hale was born December 7, 1970 in Batavia, a son of Richard and Sheila (Pribison) Hale of Corfu.

He enjoyed fishing and playing the latest video games. He followed all forms of motorsports on TV: NASCAR, NHRA, INDYCAR, and motocross motorcycle racing; on occasion attending races at area tracks. He was a diehard fan of the NFL Raiders football team, win or lose.

Surviving along with his parents are his son, Trevor Pahl of Batavia; sister, Jacqueline R. (Douglas) Ferris of Le Roy; a nephew, Jacob Ferris; paternal grandmother, Norma Hale of Batavia. Two aunts and an uncle also survive.

Preceded in death by an uncle, Daniel Foster Hale; and his paternal grandfather, LaVerne S. Hale.

There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend Jason's Mass of Christian Burial on Friday (October 30, 2020) at 1:00 PM in St. Mary's Church, 18 Ellicott Street in Batavia. Burial will be held privately in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center, 262 Bank Street, Batavia, New York 14020.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing and face coverings will be required at the church. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
