Janice E. Hill, 78, of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire formerly of Virginia Beach and Batavia, passed suddenly on Friday (April 17, 2026) at Webster at Rye Nursing Home in Rye, New Hampshire.

Janice was born April 28, 1947 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Percy and Charlotte (Smith) Seward.

Janice graduated from Batavia High School, Class of 1965 and then from the Rochester School of Practical Nursing in 1968.

She was a dedicated registered nurse, retiring after more than 25 years with Providence Road Family Practice. Janice enjoyed spending time with family, cross-stitching, gardening, and caring for her pets.

She loved baseball and over the years had a passion for the Atlanta Braves and most recently the Washington Nationals.

She is survived by her daughter Robin Raymond and son-in-law David of New Hampshire, her son David Hill of Virginia Beach and her granddaughters Kayla Davis and her partner Andrew Surette, Cori Hoppe and her husband Joe, and Jenna Raymond. She was predeceased by her sister, Judith A Gilt

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday (June 6, 2026) at 2:30 p.m. in Stone Church Cemetery in Bergen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a no-kill animal shelter of the donor's choice.
