Jane E. Draycott, of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1st, 2025, at the age of 99. Born on Thursday, June 24th, 1926, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Jane lived a life full of love, devotion, and service to her family and community.

Jane was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Kenneth Draycott, her loving parents, Jane Walters Hall and Samuel Hall, and her dear siblings, Fred E. Hall, Minnie D. Brown, Cassie P. Hall, Harold Hall, Elizabeth Billings and William J. Hall.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Kenneth J. (Carolyn) Draycott of Auburn and Phyllis J. Draycott of Batavia; her grandchildren, Kristy Post and Jennifer (Toby) Cameron; and her great-grandchildren, Dylan Post and Daniel and Ian Cameron. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

A devoted member of St. James Episcopal Church, Jane found great joy and fulfillment in her faith and community. She taught Sunday School since the age of 12 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and St. James Episcopal Church. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Jane, along with her late husband traveled extensively including many trips to Europe. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and taking care of children.

Memorial services to honor Jane's life will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 405 East Main Street on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jane's memory to St. James Episcopal Church, 405 East Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020 or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
