Batavia - Mrs. Imogene D. (Goodenbury) Stent, 89, passed away on December 27, 2025, at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Mrs. Stent was born November 5, 1936 in Batavia, a daughter of the late George and Ruth (Ball) Goodenbury.
Mrs. Stent enjoyed playing cards and games with family, watching movies, and loved cats.
she is predeceased by her husband, Russell Stent, whom she was married to for 57 wonderful years until his passing in 2016. She is also predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Goodenbury, and daughter-in-law, Heather Stent.
She is survived by her son, Stanley (Diane Nicholas) Stent of Depew; daughter, Mary (Chris Millar) Schwartz of Depew; sister, Dorothy (Arthur) Kowal of Batavia. 2 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchild, and 9 step-great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A private burial took place in Grand View Cemetery in Batavia. A memorial service is being planned for the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
