Bergen, NY/Bradenton, Fla. - Helen M. O'Brien, age 91 passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at St. Petersburg General Hospital.

Helen was born March 11, 1930 in Spencerport, a daughter of the late Evan King and Edna Kern King.

Helen has been reunited with the love of her life, Burdette "Tuck" O'Brien who passed away on December 22, 2015. They were married on July 31, 1948 and celebrated 67 years of marriage together.

Above all else, Helen loved her family and traveling around to watch her grandchildren’s soccer games.

An avid fan of baseball and NASCAR, Tuck and Helen traveled in their RV visiting many of the tracks across the country to watch the races. She still enjoyed spending time with members of their card club, Dick and Shirley Frew and Jerry Barton, reminiscing all their stories of the ‘good old days’. In their retirement they spent over 30 years at Sugarcreek Country Club in Bradenton, Fla. They enjoyed many friendships and made great memories from skits at the clubhouse, playing cards, to neighborhood parties.

She is survived by her children; Patric (Susan) O'Brien of Spencerport and Lori (John) Andrieu of Chili; her sister, Evelyn Tosh of Bradenton, Florida. six grandchildren; Kory (Pam) Andrieu, Jesse (Jamie) Andrieu, Kasey (Dan) Phillips, Christopher (Danielle Szeliga) Andrieu, Amy (Mike) Holtforth and Katie (Erich) Boersch; ten great-grandchildren; Madison, Landon, Ava, Ella, Lillian, Zoie, Harper, Aleyda, Max and Jackson; one great-great-granddaughter, Melody; a very special niece, Ruthie Twigger along with numerous nieces and nephews; also survived by a very special friend, Mary Jo Honegger.

She is predeceased by her sisters; Ruth Fitzgerald and Arlene Bauer.

There are no prior visiting hours. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Woodside Lodge in Black Creek Park, 3835 Union Street, North Chili,14514. She will be laid to rest in Creekside Cemetery in Churchville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ogden Baptist Church, 721 Washington Street, Spencerport, New York 14559.
