Helen Hopkins

Helen Hopkins, 96, of Attica, passed away on October 13, 2023 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital - Nursing Facility.

Helen was born February 21, 1927 in Colden, a daughter of the late Adolf and Regina (Viketoria) Rauch. 

Helen enjoyed gardening, rollerskating and crocheting.

Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Hopkins; two grandsons, Scott (Melinda) Johnson and Cory Buchholz; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Hopkins; a brother-in-law, Rob Roy Griffith; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hopkins; sons, Wayne Hopkins and Bruce Hopkins; four sisters and one brother. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street in Batavia, where Helen's funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. also on Thursday (please note location).  She will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bennington Volunteer Fire Company, 1353 Clinton Street Road, Bennington, NY 14011.
