Geraldine “Geri” F. Cowell, of Le Roy, age 68, passed away on July 10, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 24, 1957, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, a daughter of the late Walter and Audrey (McNall) Brooks.
Geraldine graduated from El Paso High School and later went on to work many different careers, until her retirement from Kraft Food Inc. She enjoyed paint by numbers, video games, watching murder/mysteries, cooking, and baking. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and her partner in life, Winfield Marshall.
She is survived by her love, Winfield Marshall; children, Dawn Brooks, Robert Hobbs, Matthew (Amy) Brooks, Brandon Cowell, Emily Kingdollar, and Nichols Kingdollar; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Bill Greenman, Pam Greenman, Barb Waugh, Pennye Morales, and Robin Brooks; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In death, Geraldine is reunited with her parents, Walter and Audrey Brooks; son, Christopher Brooks and brothers, Wayne Greenman, Drew Greenman, and Chuck Brooks.
Arrangements are under the care and directions of H.E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St. Batavia. There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Geraldine’s memory to, Genesee County Animal Shelter: 3841 W Main Street Rd, Batavia, NY 14020, or All Babies Cherished: 445 Ellicott St, Batavia, NY 14020.
