Georgia E. Speed, 69, of Batavia, passed away on Thursday (December 29, 2016) at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester.
Georgia was born April 9, 1947 in Bangor, ME, a daughter of the late George Edward and Frances (Bushey) Chapman.
She was a line worker at Grey Metals in Avon.
Survivors include one daughter, Tanya Vargas of Batavia; her grandchildren, Miguel, Carlos and Jesus; a special friend, Gladys Patmore; brothers, Mike and David and her sisters, Darlene, Vickie, Gail and Gaye.
Georgia is the wife of the late Clayton Speed.
There are no prior calling hours and services will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
