Mrs. Diane C. Scheiber

Medina - Diane C. Scheiber, 69 of Medina, formerly of South Byron, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
She was born Friday, January 11th, 1952 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Leslie and Lucille Rudd Bates.
Diane loved to bowl and play euchre with her friends. She enjoyed her wind-chimes, watching the hummingbirds and traveling to the annual Dansville Balloon Festival with her husband.
Diane is the wife of Kenneth E. Scheiber who passed away on May 9, 2014 and sister of the late David Bates.
Surviving are her sons, Pete (Deb) Scheiber of Oakfield and Charles (Joyce) Scheiber of Chili; her grandsons, Collin (Abigail Klos) Scheiber of Oakfield and Ryan Scheiber of Chili; her siblings, Susan (Charlie) O'Geen, Sandy (Danny) Snell, Shirley (Les) Bates, Joyce (Dean) Cottom, Tracy Sittig, Bryan Bates and Dean (Theresa) Bates along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia where funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 4 pm. She will be laid to rest in Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia 22116-7023.
