Daniel A. "The Mayor" Coughlin, 73, of Batavia, passed away on February 24, 2022 at United Memorial Medical Center.
Daniel was born February 6, 1949 in Warsaw, a son of the late Leo and Betty (Wolff) Coughlin.
Daniel enjoyed camping, fishing, horseshoes and going to the Batavia Downs. He will be remembered as a family man who loved his grandchildren.
Surviving are his children, Laura (Peter) Mooney of Oakfield, Diane Kotarski of Batavia and Daniel "Peeps" (Lace) Coughlin of Albion; brothers, David (Carol) Coughlin of Batavia and Rick (Yolanda) Coughlin of Batavia; sister, Cathy (late Joseph) Barclay of Oakfield; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Coughlin.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday (March 1) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave. in Oakfield, where Daniel's funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. also on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Coughlin family.
