Consuelo Martinez-White, 73, of Byron, passed away on April 27, 2026 at Orchard Rehab and Nursing Center, Medina.

She was born March 14, 1953, to the late Manuel and Norma (Acosta) Martinez. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Thomas White and brother, Pedro Martinez.

She lived her life embodying kindness, love and generosity. Consuelo honorably served for 30 years as a VA nurse demonstrating the 'do for others not for self' spirit. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph's Church, where she generously gave her time cleaning and helping wherever she was needed. She also volunteered at Crossroads House, always offering kindness and compassion to those in her care. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-baking, coloring, reading, and caring for animals-but nothing brought her more happiness than the time she spent with her family, who were truly the center of her world.

Surviving are her children, Ana (Scott) Sierra- Bacon, Jason (Erika) Ranlett, and Maria Claudia Sierra; grandchildren, Nora, Tomas, Penelope, and Natalie; sisters, Norma (Daniel Ortiz) Martinez-Acosta and Carmen Martinez-Acosta; nieces and nephews, Alexandria Cherena, Marisel Cherena, Jose Cherena, and Mariel Davila.
