Carol L. Folger, 82 of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at United Memorial Medical Center.
Carol was born September 5, 1943, in Batavia, a daughter of the late Jack and Frances (Reed) Folger, and wife of the late Roger V. Brown.
Carol was a quiet and private woman whose gentle spirit touched the lives of those who knew and loved her. She married the love of her life, Roger Brown, in 1965, and while living in Batavia, she worked as an associate at Genesee Community College and in local law offices and doctors' offices.
Together, Carol and Roger built a life of love and adventure, traveling wherever Roger's military service took them. Through each new place and chapter, they shared a life filled with memories and experiences that she carried with her throughout the years.
Carol found joy in the simple pleasures of life and enjoyed staying connected with family and friends through social media. Though she was a private person, those fortunate enough to know her knew she appreciated them.
Carol is survived by her brother, Robert (Robin) Folger and sister, Wendy Folger; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (David) Wick, Amber (Eric Beier) Folger, Jeffrey Folger, and several cousins.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. E. Turner & Co., Inc., 403 East Main Street, Batavia. At Carol's request, there will be no services or calling hours. Carol will be laid to rest with her husband in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia.
