Braad Brooks

Oakfield - Braad Brooks, age 74, passed away at his home on May 20, 2026.

He was born on October 10, 1951, in Batavia a son of the late Wilfred S. and Juanita A. Thomas Brooks.

A lifetime resident of Oakfield, he was employed at My-T Acres in Batavia for many years. Braad enjoyed cooking and loved his cats.

He is survived by his wife Dianne Brooks; son, Brett (Gretchen) Brooks of Syracuse; granddaughter, Hannah Brooks; his siblings, Craige Brooks of Florida, Linne (late Gordon) Hopkins of Dansville and Heather Brooks-Stephens of Batavia along with nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. He will be laid to rest in Cary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider memorials to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., PO Box 676910, Dallas, TX 75267-6910.
