Bonnie Sanders Moore, a cherished resident of Oakfield, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on Thursday, February 26th, 1953, Bonnie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
Bonnie's life was a testament to hard work and dedication. A proud graduate of Pavilion, she spent many years serving as a waitress at The Dew Drop and Oakfield Hotel, where her warm smile and cheerful demeanor left a lasting impression on patrons and colleagues alike. She later retired as the senior sales associate at the 7-11 in Oakfield, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and professionalism.
Her passion for life extended beyond her work. An avid sports fan, Bonnie ardently supported theBuffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills and held a special admiration for the legendary Bruce Smith. She was also a skilled bowler and a formidable pool shark. Her love for stock car racing and country music added vibrant colors to her richly lived life.
Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband, Jimmy Moore, who stood by her side as a loving partner; her children, Brandon Gendron, Jerome (Ellen) Peck, and Jamie (David) Woodard; her stepson, David (Danette) Gendron Jr.; and her treasured siblings, Daniel Sanders, Jimmy Sanders, and Thomas (Sandy) Sanders. Bonnie was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who will cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of love and strength.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Gendron Sr.; her parents, Evelyn and Clair Sanders; and her siblings, David Sanders, Linda Sanders, and Mike Sanders.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield. A celebration of Bonnie's life will be on Saturday December, 20th, 2025 at 4PM at Rusty Rail Bar/Grill.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Bonnie's honor to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous and caring nature.
