Audrey Blount

Audrey A. Blount, 91 of LeRoy, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Le Roy Village Green Residential Health Care Facility.

She was born on November 3, 1934, in Albion, daughter of the late Carroll and Marjorie (Smithler) Johnson, and sister of the late Robert Johnson.

Audrey earned her Associate's degree at Genesee Community College and was a devoted member of the Byron Presbyterian Church for over 75 years, where she served many years as an elder and deacon.

She found joy in the simple moments of life-making jam and jelly to share with friends and family, playing Scrabble, and spending quiet time with crossword puzzles and a good book. She lovingly cared for her cats and had a deep passion for planting trees, leaving behind a living legacy in the world around her. Above all, her greatest love was her family, who meant everything to her.

She is survived by her children, Ronald B. (Robin) Glazier, James (Catherine) Glazier, Christine (Barry) Mandel, Jeffrey Glazier, and Nancy (Kirk Richenberg) Glazier; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren on the way; sister in law, Barbara West; father of her children, Ronald C. Glazier; a niece; cousins; and several faithful friends.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake Avenue, Bergen. There will be a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Byron Presbyterian Church or the Pavilion Fire Department.
