Arline Bank

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arline Bank, who departed this life peacefully from natural causes on January 8, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 5, 1944, in Buffalo, New York,

Arline spent her life dedicated to her family and community. Arline was a proud resident of Elba, New York, where she was an active member of the Elba Fire Department Auxiliary, contributing her time and effort to support her community. She was employed by General Electric, where she worked until her retirement, having enjoyed a fulfilling career.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Arline is survived by her loving husband, Michael Bank, and her cherished children, Mike (Kimberly) Bank and Michele (Douglas) VanBuren. her grandchildren, Kylynn (Lee) Kerwin, Kristian (Karina) Bank, Drew VanBuren (Robert Williamson), and great-grandchild, Logan Kerwin.

She held dear the simple pleasures in life, including boat riding, tending to her beloved flowers, feeding the birds, and engaging in arts and crafts. Arline also found joy in cooking with her family, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Arline was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Marie Koestler.

During the summer months, she cherished her time spent at Lake Alice, where evenings were often filled with laughter and storytelling around the campfire. Arline's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street. There will be no services at time.
