Alicia Umayan Dolan

Alicia Umayan Dolan, 84, of Batavia, formerly of Manila, Philippines, passed away on October 10, 2026, at United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia.

Born on May 14, 1942, in Manila, Philippines, Alicia's life was forever changed when she met the love of her life, Bruce Dolan, in 1972 while he was stationed in the Philippines. Their love blossomed into a beautiful and lasting partnership, and they were united in marriage on March 5, 1976. Together, Alicia and Bruce shared many happy years, building a life filled with love, cherished memories, and the special moments that make a lifetime together so meaningful.

Alicia was a vibrant, outgoing woman whose beautiful spirit and zest for life brought warmth and happiness to those around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was cooking something special, sewing with care, or dancing with a happy heart. Alicia treasured the time she spent with Bruce and her beloved dog, Cody, who brought her so much companionship and love. She also enjoyed her visits to Batavia Downs, where she found excitement and enjoyment. Alicia's lively spirit, warm heart, and love for the things that made her happy will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Dolan; sisters-in-law, Nancy Staub and Vera Mascaro; close friend, Connie Robinson; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main Street, Batavia. There will be no services. Alicia will be laid to rest at a private service in the Western New York National Cemetery, Corfu.
