Batavia - Mr. William K. Rosborough, age 92, of Batavia, a long-time resident of Morganville and retiree of Lapp Insulator in LeRoy, passed away, Saturday, September 22, 2012 at his home in Batavia.



Mr. Rosborough was born May 1, 1920 in North Java, a son of the late William and Edna Neiver Rosborough.

He enjoyed working in his garage; gardening and taking care of his yard and along with his late wife Edna, had a great love for roller-skating.



His wife, Edna F. Courtox Rosborough, passed away on January 10, 2002.



Survivors include his daughter, Elaine Borthwick of Batavia; three granddaughters, Kimberly (Brian) Williams of Troy, Jennifer (Shane) Mininger of Virginia and Jessica Borthwick of Batavia; a great-grandson, Colin Williams of Troy; two sisters, Ruth Miller of Batavia and Mary Rose Silliman of Corfu; several nieces and nephews and six great-kitty's whom he loved dearly, and they loved him.



He was predeceased by his daughter, Brenda Fey in 2003 and his siblings Howard Rosborough and Dorothy Miller.



There are no prior visiting hours. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. Burial will be in Morganville Cemetery, Stafford. Memorials may be made to Volunteers for Animals, P.O. Box 1621, Batavia, New York 14021.
