Batavia - Suzanne D. Penepent, 70, of Batavia, passed away on Thursday, (March 7, 2013) at the Genesee County Nursing Home, in Batavia.
Ms. Penepent was born January 28, 1943 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Francis C. and Eunice B. (Butler) Waters.
Suzanne would best be described as an all-around fun person. She enjoyed being outside in the summer time and loved to watch Carol Burnett and the Andy Griffith Show. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a deep love for cats and her favorite holiday was Christmas.
Surviving are her children, Russell L. Penepent of Batavia, Elizabeth S. Penepent of Wyoming, and William J. (Lori) Penepent of Basom; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her sister, Floye C. (late Grady) David.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. A graveside service will be held at a time and date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be distributed to various charities. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Corfu.
