Stafford - Mrs. Shirley V. Kingdon, 93, of Stafford, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Kingdon was born February 22, 1920 in Batavia, a daughter of the late William and Viola Schultz Zillman.
A member of Calvary Baptist Church, Mrs. Kingdon was a lifelong crafter who enjoyed embroidering, especially the embroidery of doilies.
She is the wife of the late Harold F. Kingdon who passed away October 12, 2003 and the mother of the late Melody L. DiSanto who passed away January 30, 2005 and William H. Kingdon who passed away March 15, 2010.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Ellen Kingdon of Stafford; three grandsons, Timothy (Sarah) Kingdon of Pavilion, Eric Kingdon of Buffalo and Matthew (Lynda) Kingdon of Tennessee; three great-grandsons, Great-grandsons, Tyler, Evan & Collin Kingdon; two sisters, Leora Reinhart of Batavia and Alice (Norm) Chapin of Atlanta, Georgia; three nieces and three nephews, Paul (Emily) Reinhart of Concord, California, Ronald Reinhart of Rochester and Greg Reinhart of Paris, France.
There are no prior visiting hours. Friends and family are invited to attend graveside services on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Morganville Cemetery, Morganville Road, Stafford.
