Basom - Scot A. Richardson, 49, of Basom, a former electrician at Page Park Associates in Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.
Mr. Richardson was born October 25, 1962 in Batavia, a son of Jean (Wickham) Richardson of Basom, and the late John Richardson.
He was an avid Mets, Sabre's hockey and Buffalo Bills fan. He enjoyed working with wood.
Survivors include two sons: Sean Richardson and Patrick Richardson, both of Rhinebeck, two brothers, Brian (Brenda) Richardson of Basom and Daniel (Pam) Richardson of VA; a sister, Cindee (Fekry) Azer of Bronx, and aunt, Grace Jonathan of Basom; 6 nieces and nephews, 2 great-nieces and great-nephews and several cousins.
Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield, where services will be at 11a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family or to Alabama - Basom United Methodist Church, 1392 Church St. Alabama, NY 14003. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery in Oakfield.
