Oakfield - Rose Mary Calla, 74, of Oakfield, a lab technician at United Memorial Medical Center, prior to her retirement in 2005, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Mrs. Calla was born February 11, 1938 in Johnsonburg, PA, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (DiNardo) Casciani.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church, volunteered at St. Joseph's School and was devoted to her family, grandchildren and church.
Her husband, Louis R. Calla, died December 9, 1999.
Survivors include 7 daughters, Angela (David) Berkman of WV, Linda (Ralph) Lamson of LaFayette, Laura Calla of Oakfield, Rosemary (Christopher) Young of NC, Deborah (Bryant) Tyson of Batavia, Sara (Matthew) Munger of NC and Theresa (Michael) Gibson of NC; three sons, Mark Calla of PA, Timothy (Marie) Calla and David Calla, both of NC; 3 brothers, John, Ralph and Emidio Casciani; 2 sisters, Anna Grayson and Serafina Hacheral; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Jennie R. Calla.
