Rochester - Roger P. Owens, 66, of Rochester, formerly of Bergen, a piano technician in the Rochester area, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Owens was born August 18, 1946 in Bergen, the son of the late Walter and Kathleen (Bissell) Owens.
He was a member of Fairport Lions Club and enjoyed music and reading.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (Roman) Owens; two sons, Roger Owens and Michael Owens, all of Puerto Rico; a step-brother, Russell Miller; 2 sisters, Doris Jean Miller and Marilyn Miller; 2 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his companion Eloise Cash who died on January 29, 2011.
Friends may attend graveside services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Rest Cemetery, S. Lake St., Bergen. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairport Lions Club, P.O. Box 267, Fairport, NY 14450-0267. Arrangements were completed by H.E. Turner & Co., Funeral Home of Bergen.
