Batavia - Robert Emery Moore, Sr., 64, of Batavia, a farmer at Lamb Farms in Oakfield, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Veterans Administration WNY Healthcare System, in Buffalo.
Mr. Moore was born September 29, 1947 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Charles Emery and Rubie (Hollabough) Moore.
He served with the Army from 1966 to 1969. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Bush) Moore whom he married May 21, 1966; 3 sons, Robert (Chris) Moore, Jr. of Elba, Steve (Kim) Moore of Warsaw and Jimmy (Kim) Moore of Oakfield; a daughter, Stacey (Dale) Wissinger of Oakfield; 3 sisters, Rubie (John) Sage of FL, Mary (Ken) Yoffredo of Holley and Barbara Moore of FL and the late Janet Chase; 11 grandchildren, including the late Jessie Moore, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
