Oakfield - Norman F. Vanderkooi, 73, of Oakfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his home.
Norman was born November 29, 1944 in Batavia, a son of the late Frank and Ivah (Raynor) Vanderkooi.
He enjoyed fishing, fixing cars and was a truck driver at R & W Trucking in Elba.
Survivors include his children, Rhonda (Joe) Barone of Batavia, Ron (Theresa Osborn) Vanderkooi of Batavia and Dawn (Keith Fruehauf) Vanderkooi of Oakfield, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Norman is the husband of the late Margo Vanderkooi and brother of the late Howard Vanderkooi and Irwin Vanderkooi.
There are no prior calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
