Mary Lynne (Roth) Falker
Oakfield - Mary Lynne Falker, 78, of Oakfield, died peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Falker was born May 5, 1935 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Fredrick J. and Anna Katherine (Schaller) Roth.
Mary was a stay at home mother who raised her children and managed the family's farm with her husband. She loved spending time with her family and friends, gardening and watching birds in her backyard birdfeeder. Mary was a former member of the Alabama Grange. She enjoyed decorating her home and was a talented artist.
Her husband, Donald A. Falker, died April 27, 2012.
Survivors include 4 children, Stephen A. Falker and Barbara (Marcus) Falker-Crandall both of Oakfield, Timothy P. Falker of Shortsville and Donna (Kyle) Harris also of Oakfield; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Penny Falker and Jeffrey W. Falker and sister of the late Glenn Roth, Gene Roth, Bernice Richenburg, Gladys Judy and Janice Koziej
Friends may call on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield, NY, where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakfield Fire Department, P.O. Box 184, Oakfield, NY 14125 or to Genesee Country Church, 3268 Drake St., Oakfield, NY 14125. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Corfu.
