Major was a friend, motivator & mentor, always willing to help those in need. A fair and honest man that had a teachable moment in every life learned story that he told. An amazing man - truly a jack of all trades. Even in the end, he showed us his strength & determination to make it home to be with his family. He had been there for us all our lives and we were there for him. Now, his work here is done. He received his call, an offer he couldn't refuse. A reunion with family & friends he hasn't seen in a long time.

Don't grieve for me, now I'm free.
Following the path God laid for me.
Taking his hand, when I heard him call,
Turning my back & leaving it all.
