Kathleen V. Rogers

Kathleen V. Rogers, 89, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on December 12, 2020 at the Gateway House in Attica. Kathleen was born August 1, 1931 in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, a daughter of the late Archibald and Ellen Farrell. She came to the United States at the age of 18. She loved spending time with her husband, sons and their families. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She spent many hours with her family at their cottage in the Adirondacks. She loved scrabble and other board games; singing songs on the front porch swing; and drawing and coloring with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Roy S. Rogers; her sons, Ty (Elizabeth Tarr) Rogers of Forrest Hills, Farrell (Jessica) Rogers of Lakeland, FL and Durin (Paula Campbell) Rogers of Batavia; grandchildren, Ilana Rogers, Kyle Rogers, Bryce Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Natalie Rogers and Luke Rogers; a sister, Margaret Loughram of Northern Ireland and a special niece, Ellen Hardy of Ontario, Canada. Preceded in death by a sister, Rosaline Loughram. There will be no prior calling hours or funeral services.
