Oakfield - Mrs. June L. Grice, 84, of Oakfield, died Saturday (February 2, 2013) at Medina Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Grice was born June 19, 1928 in Alexander, the daughter of the late Henry and Lois (Parker) Kelsey.
A 66 year member of the Oakfield United Methodist Church, she enjoyed crafts, reading, sewing and babysitting her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Grice was active in the Grange since 1966, loved all animals and was an assembler at G.T.E. Sylvania in Batavia. She brought a smile to all who had the good fortune to meet her.
Survivors include two brothers, Harry Kelsey of Oakfield and Frank (Ethel) Kelsey of Rochester; a sister-in-law, Betty Skelton of Akron and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her husband, William F. Grice, died October of 1972. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Lyle Kelsey, Henry Kelsey and Charles Kelsey.
There are no prior calling hours. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery, Oakfield.
